Lushes LaMoan

Lushes LaMoan is a Detroit based burlesque performer and model. Specializing in Pin-up and Vintage Varietease, Lushes is trained in classic theatre and comedic arts. She incorporates her knowledge and background as a comedian into her stage persona.
 

Lushes started her performance career doing theatre performances and being a original cast member for the Detroit based urban sketch comedy television show “Switch Play TV”. She started performing burlesque in 2006 with the burlesque troupe “SPAG”.

Now with over 100 burlesque performances under her garter belt, both locally and nationally, she is considered a rising star in the burlesque community. This has awarded her the title of Branch Director of the Detroit division of Dr. Sketchy's.

On top of being a strong solo performer, she shows exceptional leadership qualities while running her own troupe of 12 performers known as the Detroit Dizzy Dames.  The Detroit Dizzy Dames were voted Best Burlesque by Real Detroit Magazine in 2010 and 2011 under her guidance.

She has been the creator and choreographer of several group routines and has costumed for several of the Dames. Her modeling experience has been recognized by Metrotimes, who made her their cover model for their Lust issue in February of 2010, as well as the opportunity to work with great photographers such as Kristine Diven and Cybelle Codish.

Lushes is available for hire for public functions, private gigs, corporate events, burlesque/pin up lessons, make up and hair stylist and photographer's assistant.
